The Wait Is On!!

Karen is a
TROOPER!!!

I'm very proud of Mama! She is staying positive and is in GREAT spirits. She gets up daily at the crack of dawn ready to meet the day's challenges within the Minneapolis School District. With their over crowded schools! (Did I go there?) She gets up without complaining or groaning, except the fact that she doesn't want to leave me!! Ha Ha I've been waiting for the crazy cravings but nothing yet. Karen is looking pretty cute in her maternity clothes, she's even dressed in the school uniform. She's tired when she gets home from work, but who wouldn't. I try to get her to tale a nap but usually I get veto'd. (is that a word?)

Sam seems to be growing by the minute. The baby is very active as well, with lots of twists, turns, pokes and jabs, etc. Just the other day as I was having a private conversation with Sam, and he/she decided to kick or punch me in the eye. The force knocked me back about 1mm or so but I recovered. I continued my conversation and low and behold, I got kicked again. Sam must have wanted to sleep. We've been able to feel Sam's hick-ups on occasion. I think it's kinda funny. Sam has been also jabbing Mama in her ribs lately too. Must be running out of room in there.


The Crib
As you can see, Sam's room is now complete. The mural is all touched up and sealed so little finger prints can be washed off. The crib is all set up, and even has a few items in it. The other pictures show the rocking "dog" that the Cookies gave us, as well as the rocking chair. You will also see the green leaf given to us by Lauren and Elle.
