The following takes place between Saturday 6am and Sunday 6pm

Jamison was very busy this weekend. He is becoming a big boy very fast.

Saturday morning Jamison woke up bright and early after sleeping in his own crib. He said he liked it and can't wait to break it in. I got up around 8:30. Karen said I slept through them talking to each other for 2 hours. She said he was talking and yelling and laughing. I got up and made Karen and Jamison breakfast.

We had fresh biscuits, bacon and apples. Yes I made those awesome looking biscuits from scratch. You can see Jamison likes bacon too. I even made those yummy apples from a cloned recipe from the Cracker Barrel. They were tasty.

Anyway after breakfast Grandma and Papa came over to visit. Here is Grandma making Jamison laugh. I have some video of Jamison and Papa laughing but I can't get it on here yet.

Later that evening we went out with Kim, Tim and Bella to Granite City Brewery. Don't even get me started on the fact that they don't even brew their beer on site. The beer is watery too!!! Anyway, little man slept through dinner, but that's ok We went to dinner at 4:30 and Karen felt like she was in an old folks home eating that early. Thank goodness we went that early. It was packed. Jamison had a rack of ribs for dinner.

After dinner we went back to Bella's house to play. Kim somehow got Jamison to roll over on his own. Well almost over. His little arm sticking out to the side kept him from turning all the way over. He had enough play time around 9:30 and he wanted to get back in his crib.

This is what he looks like when I
turned the night vision on, on the camera.

Sunday morning we took a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng ride to a city called Victoria. Ever heard of it? It's way out there. We saw horses, cows, chickens, barns and tractors along the way. I think we even ended up in a different time zone, or at least area code. You know you are out there when there are no traffic lights or street lights to be seen.

We went out to see Jenn, Craig (it's really Greg) and their 3 week old son, Isaac. He was so tiny, hard to believe that Jamison was that small. Jamison was kind of out of his element way out there. He told me that the magnetic field in this part of the world didn't feel right, and he started yelling. I think he was trying to communicate with Isaac, but Isaac wasn't having it.

We left soon after the fussing started and of course he went right to sleep when we got in the car. We stopped at McGoo's house, just down the road, but they were in Arizona, go figure. Next stop was the Mall! Eden Prairie Mall to be exact. Good thing we had the stroller in the car. We stopped by and saw Dude at work, walked around the mall and bought Jamison a couple of outfits. He'll be looking FIERCE this summer!!

We hit Target on the way out the mall and made our way home. Jamison slept the whole way home, and Mama had a few winks....maybe. Jamison played for a while and then had a huge blow out and he said that was why he was fussy all day. He laughed while I was cleaning him up and he played some more and then went to bed in his crib.

Until next time!

Your breakfast...impressive. I worked a few summers at the Land O' Lakes plant in Faribault during college. We made the cinnamon/sugar/butter concoction that Cracker Barrel used in their apples. Brown, gritty, oozy, oh so tasty on toast but always gummed up the f@#$%&g machine!

It also hurt like the dickens when thrown at you.

Dude! Victoria is out by us! It's not THAT far. We drive that all the time. Sometimes you gotta get out and see how the OTHER half lives!

Peace out!
