Guess What...

We bought a new house!!!

This is it. We're moving to the "Burbs" lol.
We got lucky finding this place. Karen and I had looked with an agent two day and 26 houses before finding this online one night.
We contacted the agent and went out for a look.
It was cold in the house when we looked around and Karen took off for the car.
After a long thought process and one-sided negotiating with the seller, we got what we wanted.













The house has 5 bedrooms, 3 upstairs, one on the main floor and one in the basement. There are 4 bathrooms, a nice big family room, and an even bigger one in the basement. Oh and I found a room for a brewery. LOL

We are in the process of painting and cleaning the house before we move in. We are packing the other house when we have free time into a moving container. So if you are free on the 31st we'd love to have your help moving and setting stuff up

Obviously this is the kitchen.
On the left side of the picture is the door to the backyard.
There is a big drop since there is no deck out back....yet.














This gives another shot of the open floor plan
in the house.














This is the family room with a gas stove that is just off the
kitchen. No more hauling wood in for us. Just flip the switch
and we have fire.


Here is Vern painting Jamison's room. I think it is finished by the looks of it.














Dave Pike came all the way from Stillwater to help paint the upstairs bathroom. He said his favorite part of painting is cutting in! I think he's crazy!!


We are heading over again on Saturday to continue painting the first floor. Come back for pictures of the finished bedroom and more progress.
