Jamison participated in his first Easter Egg hunt...well it wasn't much of a hunt. There were 3 baseball fields covered in plastic eggs and surrounded by kids, and families.
Here we are waiting for the mad dash to start to get a plastic egg. Jamison was very excited. Volunteers were busy trying to keep the people back.
The volunteers kept saying 30 more seconds, 30 more seconds, wait for the bell to sound. Jamison was not having it and kept trying to get out to a ball.
Jamison kept yelling "Ball...Ball...ball!!!"He obviously thought the eggs were balls.
After a while the bell er siren sounded, it was a fire truck siren not a bell. Anyway the place went wild. All of the eggs were
picked up in less than 2 minutes. I was moving eggs closer to Jamison so he could pick them up and little kids were running over and grabbing them. I tripped a few kids so other would know I meant business.
Afterward the Easter Bunny started walking around. Jamison has a new word....Bunny!!! Oh by the way, Dr. Mom is trying to count all of the words that Jamison can say. She already filled up a sheet of paper.
Jamison was very excited and wanted to go meet the "Bunny"!!!! Jamison chased the Bunny down and said Hi!!!
Jamison got bored with E.B. and ran off across
the field. He thought he saw his dog Newton.
Jamison got to get in a fire truck and check everything out.
Soon he wanted to see the "Bunny" again. So Karen and Grandad waited in line while Jamison, Nana and I hung around looking at the Bunny. Eventually he got to sit next to the Bunny and then yelled for Mom!
