Roll Call

I was pondering Fatherhood while working-out late Friday night. It was a California workout, you know the kind. Just Hot tub!! Anyway, I want to put together a Daddy support group for new and seasoned Daddy's. We have a number of friends who have recently had babies and one that is expecting. We won't forget about our seasoned Daddy's either, there's one with a (gasp) 'Teen'!!!

So, here is what I'm proposing! I say we create our own group where we take our kids, crumb snatcher, ankle bitters, one tooth wonders, or what ever term or endearment you would like to use. We need to get together as Daddy's with our sons/daughters for different activities every month. Doesn't matter what the activity is, we'll just hang and send the wives off to do stuff. Maybe they go to the spa!
Maybe a pedicure/manicure!
Maybe a movie!
Maybe just chill in peace and quiet!
Maybe they'll go in the kitchen and make me some pie!! LOL

Alright I'm calling a few of you out.....
Tim and I talked this weekend and he likes the idea and he has an idea for the first event.
This next guy is expecting another addition to his family. Ben get ready for some heavy bacon sampling. Peter is a seasoned Dad, we should learn from him since he has twice the experience! The newest Daddy is Kevin O. You can see him in action on his blog here. Another friend Kevin (I think I saw him in that picture) had his baby almost two months ago. J.T., what can we say about J.T.? He gets to share the house with a TWEEN. LOL Ryan L, can make some mean @$$ wings, these things can literally start your house on fire!! Last but not least Greg wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy out in some town west of nowhere. His little man is about 4 months old. I hear he's not sleeping either. Tristim has a two year old boy and he really knows how to baby-sit.

Whew that was a lot of work. So Daddies lets organize and make this happen!!
