Sam's Crib!!!

We are making steady progress on the baby's room,

aka Sam Adams' Crib.

Karen and I got the pattern taped up on the wall on Sunday afternoon. We were able to trace the scene onto the wall in an hour or so.








As you can see Mama is barely showing. She's looking good and a little tan too. Seemed like Sam grew a bunch in the bright sun of Hawaii. Kim said "add sun, will grow", or something like that.

We started painting right away and spent
most of the day painting. Here is the
progress by the end of the day. Green
and Pink are not fun colors to paint!!

Now back to the BLOG!!!

Second days progress. Some things are taking shape but a few animals are still shy and staying camouflaged. They may come out in a few days.

Hmmmm.. A monkey came out to play today as well as a parrot. I think there are still a few more aminals, yes that's right aminals.

A couple of visitors came to help out this evening

And here is the progress after the 3rd day. Karen got the giraffe to show its spots. Mr. Willie... well he added some detail to the elephant.

Dr. Mom entertained us with her wit and I watered the plants trying to get them to darken up. Hopefully all the animals will be out to play by the weekend! I'm sure glad there are no spiders hanging out.
